Farm Tours
Farm tours
Farm tours can be arranged at most times during the year with plenty of sheep and cattle to get acquainted with. Availability does depend on how busy we are and what we are doing but we should be able to organise something most of the time.
Picnicking, Kayaking & Platypus Spotting
Picnicking, kayaking & platypus spotting
All people staying at Deepwater Station, whether in the Cookhouse or camping, have access to the 10 km, private, double frontage of the Deepwater River for fishing, picnicking, kayaking and platypus spotting.
There are many different spots along the river you can drive to and explore. Please feel free to bring your own canoes or kayaks.
Fishing
Fishing
We have a 10km, double frontage, private access to the Deepwater River. The river has plenty of large Cod and some Yellow Belly in it as it has been catch and release only for 30 years. You can drive to several spots along the river and walk the rest from there.
We are also a good base from which to explore other rivers, including upstream of us which is a designated trout stream.
Explore Our History
